What a great weekend we've had! Jennifer threw the most beautiful shower for Jineen and it was so sweet to hear the words of encouragement and advice from the ladies who came to party with us! I am so blown away by the support system that Jineen has around her. I want to thank all of you for paying attention to her needs and being there for her and her family. Those of you who have cooked meals for them and are taking care of house cleaning and lawn work...wow...THANK YOU! I've attached a few pictures from the party for everyone to see. "Thanks again, Jen and Roxy!"
Jineen seemed to be feeling much better the past few days. I went down a few days early to cook for her family and hang out with them. It was a wonderful couple of days and I was in need of some 'girl time' with Jineen. I hadn't seen her since the Baby Shower in WV back in February! One morning Jineen was resting and she said, "Oh, feel right here, the baby is kicking or something". After a few moments of very consistent belly jumping I realized that the baby had the hiccups! It was so cute! They lasted a couple of minutes and we giggled watching her jump. You could literally see her head move and also the area, where her feet are, was also jumping. It was adorable! We had a little scare on Saturday when Jineen was having pain that she wasn't sure was labor pain or maybe something else. Luckily, it was not labor pain and all is fine! Keep praying that this little one doesn't decide she want's to come out on her own before we can get back down there!
So now it is crunch time for Ant and I. We have only 2 weeks before we travel to TN and we have lots to do before then. Ant is getting very nervous but also excited. I just can't wait to see her little face and start the next stage of our journey with Lexa physically in our lives! It's going to be a great year!!!
