FROM JINEEN:
As Myla said we weren't affected by the flood thank God, but so many in this area were! It's going to take a lot of rebuilding for many before things are back to "normal". So crazy how much it rained and took so much from people. So thankful for my church-The Journey Church who has and continues to serve others in the community and help people get back on their feet! Speaking of my church...my brother Jamie is the pastor and we helped plant this church almost five years ago! Today we had a very special Mother's Day service and he talked about the gift of life. It was so cool because Myla and Anthony were in the service this morning and it was Myla's first Mother's Day(4 days early) My brother brought Shane and I up to share some of our story and how we decided to carry this baby for Myla and Anthony. After we shared, he had them come up and prayed over all of us and baby Lexa...needless to say we were all in tears! It was so sweet!
Cannot believe we are only four days away! My feet and ankles are so swollen! I seriously feel like a balloon that needs to be popped!:) I don't remember ever wanting to be skinny this bad before! I am ready to detox and lose weight and get back to my "normal" routine with my kids and husband, but so excited and anxious to see Myla and Anthony and Lexa united together as a family! They are in for a whole new world and a whole new love that you can't explain until you have a baby! Can't wait!
So glad that you were spared from the flooding. Only 3 days to go now...so excited for you all.
