FROM MYLA:
It's been over 3 months since Lexa was born and the time has flown by! Jineen came to visit us this past weekend and I had been imagining what her visit would be like since we left Nashville. It's the first time she has seen little Lexa since we left the hospital in May! I have missed her so much, as 3 months is longer than we'd gone all year without visiting each other. It was an amazing visit and it was so heartwarming for me to sit and watch Jineen with Lex :) What a pair they are gonna be! T-R-O-U-B-L-E! I was thinking back to what was going on this time last year and realized that Jineen had finished the belly shots and had just begun the progesterone injections in preparation for the embryo transfer that happened on Sept 1st. Amazing that we would inadvertently schedule her first visit at almost the exact same time that she was here last year having those tiny little embryos transferred. God is good. Lexa was so responsive to Jineen. She would laugh and smile at her; one night, as we ate dinner out, she was looking at Jineen out of the corner of her eyes (with her eyebrows scrunched) as if to say, "Hey, waaaiiit a minute here....I know you!". It was the cutest thing! We had a ball playing with her and reminiscing about the past year.
We went back to the clinic, where we had the procedures, to visit with the counselor, admin and OR nurse who worked with our case. It was very emotional for me to look at each of them going crazy over Lexa and I was thanking God for RMA and the way God uses each one of them at this clinic. What a blessing that we were directed to Dr. Scott and RMA. Wow. It's going to be so cool to see what the next year will hold. We truly believe that God has a bigger plan for this story than what we've been through up to this point. We are waiting for the doors that might open and ready to share this story with anyone who might need encouragement and hope.
Ant and I have already planned our visit back to Nashville in the fall and we are so excited for the Glover kids to meet our Lexa! There's gonna be a celebration for sure.
